Catechism

Catechesis is a simple way to teach children and young people scriptural truth using the question and answer method. The ancient church used this method, and the Reformers revived the practice. Because of the biblical mandate of Deuteronomy 6, we view the training of our children and young people as a God-given responsibility.

Instruction begins in Kindergarten and goes through 12th grade. We use an age-appropriate curriculum teaching the biblical, Reformed faith and the experiential emphasis of our heritage. The elders teach through memorization, illustration and discussion. Therefore, please pray that the truths of God’s Word and the Reformed will transform the next generation. Pray that the Lord will raise up a seed to serve Him through the power of the Holy Spirit (Psalm 22:30).
