Question 45: What doth the resurrection of Christ profit us?
Answer: First, by His resurrection He has overcome death, that He might 1make us partakers of that righteousness which He had purchased for us by His death; secondly, we are also by His power raised up to a new life; and lastly, the resurrection of Christ is a sure pledge of our blessed resurrection.
1 Cor. 15:16, For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised.
Rom. 6:4, Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Col. 3:1, If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Rom. 8:11, But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.
