The HRC Mission Committee supports 36 evangelists working in South Sudan.
South Sudan is the newest country in the world, but also has the distinction of
being the poorest. Civil strife between warring tribes continues to disturb the
peace, and many people are still housed in Internally Displaced People Camps
that are run by the UN. Working hand in hand with the leaders of the Sudan
Reformed Church, these evangelists are busy spreading the gospel both in the
capital, Juba, and surrounding towns and villages. Please pray for the safety of
these men and for the gospel to continue to take root in the very needy country.
The Mission Committee values your support of this worthwhile endeavor. Pray
that the Lord’s Name will be glorified in all of South Sudan and that many will
be saved through these efforts.
