In 2026 we will be serving at the Boardwalk Chapel during a normal Youth Group week, as opposed to 2025 when we attended an evangelism training week in which individuals from many different churches were welcomed to attend. This means that the training is more condensed, the programs (music, a few 5-minute sermons, and gospel presentation skits) are on every weekday (including on Wednesday when we run a program on our own without the Chapel staff), and the evangelism nights go later into the night. Other than this, the following article summarizing the experience of the 2025 group gives you a good idea of what to expect:

Accommodation
BWC: Bunks at the Boardwalk Chapel
We will have the BWC itself to ourselves, which has 20+ beds, a newly renovated kitchen, and three full baths with showers.
Costs
Our $4000 fee to the BWC is FULLY PAID thanks to some generous donors. Now each participant only needs to pay $150 each to cover the cost of their food for the week. This doesn’t include the cost of travel to Wildwood, as this will be different for everyone, depending on their starting point and mode of travel.
Lord’s Day Observance
The OPC church nearest to the BWC which is most closely associated with their operations is Christ the King Presbyterian. This is a only Psalm singing congregation which meets for worship at 10:30am at their building on the north side of the island. On Sunday evening, our group will attend the service held at the BWC.
Day Activities
Our group will enjoy some local activities during off-hours. Some potential options include:
- Volleyball/Spikeball
- Ocean swimming
- Fishing
- Boardwalk Amusement Park
- A ferry ride to Lewes, Delaware.
- Shopping in Cape May
- Dolphin watching boat rides
